SUMMARY:ZJU Sustainable Production and Consumption
DESCRIPTION:Notes: Current dates are tentative dates.  \nUnsustainable patterns of consumption and production lie at the root of today’s climate\, biodiversity and development crises. UN Sustainable Development Goal 12 calls for systemic change across policy\, markets and daily life to reverse these patterns. The SDG Global Summer School\, hosted by the Zhejiang University School of Management (ZJUSOM)\, turns this goal into a practical\, management-oriented agenda for future entrepreneurs\, business leaders and policymakers. \nOver two weeks\, the program bridges theory and practice through interactive lectures\, inspiring excursions and hands-on exercises. The program is delivered by ZJUSOM faculty alongside invited experts from multidisciplinary backgrounds. Students will learn to identify and address sustainability issues from both the production and consumption sides and will work on real sustainability problems in areas such as the circular economy\, tourism and social entrepreneurship. By the end of the program\, students will be able to diagnose sustainability challenges and design behavior-change and organizational interventions that deliver real-world impact. \nSee preliminary information for Summer 2027 here. \nProgram Specific Eligibility Requirements\nStudents who have completed one year of study are preferred. \nSee the How to Apply page for general CLIC eligibility criteria. \nApplication Procedure\nApply with your home university to receive your travel grant. \nComplete an application with the China Scholarship Council. \nComplete an online registration form with CLIC: https://clic-horizons.symplicity.com. \nComplete registration with Chinese host university. \nApplication Deadlines\nTravel grant deadlines vary for Canadian universities.
